Residential care is for people who need daily support with personal care, meals, and medication, but who don't require nursing care. It's about helping you maintain your independence whilst knowing there's always someone nearby if you need a hand.
Our residential care includes:
Personal care — Support with washing, dressing, and mobility, delivered with dignity and respect.
All meals and refreshments — Freshly prepared food with plenty of choice. Dietary needs and preferences always catered for.
Medication management — Your medicines administered safely and on time by trained staff.
Laundry and housekeeping — Your room is kept clean and comfortable, so you can focus on enjoying your day.
Activities and companionship — From morning coffee chats to organised outings, there's always something happening and friendly faces around.
24-hour support — Day and night, there's always someone here. You're never alone.

There's no such thing as a typical day because this is your home, and you choose how to spend your time. But here's what many of our residents enjoy:
Mornings often start with a cup of tea in your room or the lounge, followed by a cooked breakfast if you fancy it. Some residents like to read the paper, others prefer a chat with staff or a wander around the garden in the warmer months.
Afternoons might include activities like bingo and quizzes, through to arts and crafts or a visiting entertainer. Perhaps you may enjoy a quiet afternoon watching a favourite film or listening to music.
Mealtimes are relaxed and sociable. Sit where you like, with who you like. If you prefer to eat in your room, you are more than welcome.
Evenings wind down gently. Supper, a bit of television, or a good book. Staff help you get ready for bed whenever you're ready, not when a rota says so.
Our residential care suits people who:
If you're unsure whether residential care is right, we're happy to talk it through. Sometimes a visit helps clarify things so you can see the environment, meet the team, and get a feel for whether it suits you or your loved one.

Every person who moves in gets a personalised care plan, developed with you and your family. We take time to understand your routines, preferences, health needs, and what matters most to you.
Care plans aren't set in stone. We review them regularly because needs change, and so do preferences. If something isn't working, we adapt. Your comfort and wellbeing always come first.
Our staff know residents by name, know their stories, and know the little things that make a difference, whether that's how you take your tea, your favourite biscuit, or that you prefer a morning bath to an evening one.
Your room is yours to personalise. Bring your favourite chair, family photos, ornaments, whatever makes you comfortable. We encourage you to make your space your own.
Beyond your room, you're free to use all the communal areas. Sit in the garden on sunny days, join others in the lounge, or find a quiet corner with a book. This is your home, not a place you're visiting.

Costs vary depending on your care needs and which home you choose. Some people are eligible for local authority funding, whilst others self-fund. We accept both.
We're always transparent about fees. When you visit or call, we'll explain costs clearly and help you understand what funding options might be available.

The best way to know if our residential care is right for you is to visit. We'll show you around, introduce you to residents and staff, and answer any questions you have. There's no pressure, and you're welcome to visit as many times as you need.
