Registered Manager - Sunnydale

Location: Douglas, Isle of Man

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 dependent upon experience & qualifications

We are currently looking for a manager to lead our hardworking team at Sunnydale Residential Home.

Sunnydale is a diverse 43 bed home which cares for the older person, persons with learning disabilities and Younger Mental Health. We aspire to enhance every one of our residents’ individualities by promoting their independence, offering choice, and treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Requirements for a Registered Manager:

  • Being responsible and accountable for the operational management of the service

  • Effectively lead the team, creating a work environment which promotes excellence.

  • Supporting staff with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person-centred Care plans (Nourish).

  • Create and uphold an open, positive and inclusive work culture.


What you will need:

  • Hold or be working towards QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care

  • Possess an in-depth understanding of CQC Assessment criteria for good and outstanding scores

  • 2 years’ experience in a management position in the care industry

  • A good work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Sound judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • Has strong values and beliefs

  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
