Tributes continue to flood in

 

Following on from Julie's success at the National Care Awards where she won the category of "Best Care Manager" of the 2011 awards tributes arrive daily

Julie has been interviewed by the local radio and newspaper both of which have caused great excitement amongst the residents and staff

Cards and tributes have been received from the local Breakthrough Breast Cancer group for whom Julie and her team raises funds, past and present relatives and other healthcare personnel

Julie says "the response has been staggering and the momentum continues to grow"

"Complete strangers come up to me in the street to offer their congratulations"

 "It was a wonderful night and I feel very proud to be representing Pearl Healthcare and the Isle of Man in this way"

How much does it cost?

You may be pleasantly surprised to find out that Pearl Homes doesn't cost any more than other Care homes. Each is different; Our prices range from £421.75 per week to £600 per week and reflect the specific requirements of each person and will vary based on room choice and location too.

Accommodation for Visitors
At Sunnydale we are very happy to offer overnight accommodation for our residents visitors, subject to availability. just ask our manager for availability and costs. Occasionally we may be able to offer accommodation for those with Family or Friends at one of our other homes.

  • Trained staff provide care 24 hours a day and they in turn are assisted by a competent team of Care Assistants.
  • All residents have their own 'call necklace button' should they require assistance at any time.
  • There are single and double rooms available, all with en-suite facilities.
  • All rooms have telephone and TV points.
  • All catering is prepared on the premises and a choice of nutritious & wholesome menu is available.
  • We have regular visits from podiatrist, physiotherapists and hairdresser and on request we also will arrange visits from Occupational Therapists, Community Dentist and Opticians All rooms have wheelchair access.
  • Special lifting aids are available and a passenger lift is available to all floors enabling residents freedom to move around the Home and visit one of our many day rooms.
  • We have our own laundry service ensuring residents have fresh clothes available at all times.
  • Recreational activities are organised together with outings and 'in house' entertainment.
