If you want to party party party then look no further than an event held at Sunnydale.

Sunnydale played host to Pearl Healthcare's first Pink Valentines Tea Dance and this event surpassed our wildest expectations

Residents had spent time making pink hearts to use as decorations, pink symbolising the way we look out for each other and take care of ourselves.  The Music Lounge was festooned in pink banners, balloons, decorations and hearts and set out as a traditional tea dance style room much to the amazement of the residents

Shirley our resident cook made a superb Valentines cake and a selection of cream cakes, Shirley surpassing herself once more

Residents and staff joined together in what can only be described as an unusual tea dance, Melba on the zimmer frame, Colin conducting and Julie just dancing all afternoon

A Valentines Quizz and a "buy a heart" raffle followed the dancing raising £150 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Earlier on in February Angie as pictured above right came to Sunnydale to collect our cheque for £450  which was raised on our Annual Think Pink Day
